Rise modular seating by IDA Design for Allsteel

Dezeen Showroom: American brand Allsteel has produced a modular seating system that aims to enhance comfort and functionality in the workplace.

Created by IDA Design, Allsteel’s Rise collection is comprised of moveable seats and work surfaces that aim to adapt to users’ working needs.

Prioritising organisation, Rise features boxes to store personal belongings like bags and briefcases to ensure a comfortable environment for both independent and collaborative work.

The system also includes pull-out laptop tables and rectangular work surfaces that can be positioned over, in front of or behind the seating modules, depending on user preference.

The collection intends to enhance workplace comfort

Upholstery is available in nine colourways, alongside a range of wood finishes – from lighter to natural to darker woods – to suit various workplace interior design schemes.

Other design features include lumbar pillows for ergonomic support, as well as sliding glide mechanisms for easy manoeuvrability and integrated USB0A and USB-C power ports.
